Order, payment & delivery

Orders are arranged on WhatsApp. An order exists once we have confirmed the item, the final price and the date with you — not when you first message us.

We may decline an order we cannot bake well or deliver on time. If we do, we say so immediately rather than accepting it and hoping.

Two to three days for most orders. One week for events over 30 servings, bulk orders with custom decoration, and fondant or heavily decorated cakes.

Orders placed after 8pm begin their notice period the following day. Shorter notice is sometimes possible but is subject to availability, and additional charges may apply.

Prices are in Pakistani rupees. The price we confirm to you is the price of the order; options such as fillings, toppers and premium packaging are added on top and are itemised before you pay.

Custom, fondant, designer and large event cakes are quoted individually, because the price depends on the design as much as the size.

Delivery is not included in the order price. See clause 6.

Payment is in advance and in full, by Easypaisa, JazzCash or bank transfer. We send you the account details with your final price.

After paying, send us the payment screenshot on WhatsApp. Your order is booked once we have confirmed receipt of that payment, and not before — an unpaid date is not held.

Tell us as early as you can. Changes to the design, size or date may be possible before baking begins, depending on what is already booked for that day, and may change the price.

Once ingredients are bought and preparation has started, an order cannot be cancelled without cost. Cancellations are handled case by case — we will always explain what we can and cannot return, and why.

We deliver within Islamabad and Rawalpindi only.

Delivery is carried out by third-party riders. The delivery charge varies by area and is paid directly to the rider, not to us. You are also welcome to book your own rider through a service such as InDrive, Bykea or Yango.

A delivery time is a preference, not a promised slot. We hand over to riders we do not employ and cannot control traffic, weather or their route.

Before your order leaves, we send you a photo of it on WhatsApp. That photo is the record of the condition it left in.

Our responsibility ends when your order is handed to the rider in good condition. Cakes are fragile and a journey is a journey. If something happens in transit — a hard stop, a tilted box, a dropped bag — that is between you and the rider or the service you booked, and we cannot replace or refund the order.

We are not being hard about this to avoid you. We say it clearly up front so that nobody discovers it at a doorstep, on a birthday.

Self-pickup is available by prior arrangement. We agree a time and a pickup point with you when the order is confirmed. Please arrive within the agreed window — fresh cream and ganache do not wait well.

Crumbix is a home bakery. There is no shop or counter to visit, and we do not publish a street address.

Everything is handmade, so no two orders are identical. Colours, decoration and finish will be close to a reference photo rather than a copy of it, and the stated weight of a cake excludes fondant toppers and decoration pieces.

Our kitchen handles nuts, dairy, eggs and wheat, and we cannot rule out contact between them. If you have an allergy, please tell us before you order so we can be honest about whether we should take it.

Orders are baked fresh for your date. Cream-based items should be refrigerated and eaten the same day.
